This game is ridiculously addicting, but I do have one complaint. Even after turning off the walking and ambient noises it still makes sound any time you battle or open containers. It drives me nuts that I cant listen to my music while playing and theres no way for me to shut it off. If they fix that the game will be perfect!

The meager amount this costs offers more hours of decent play than many other mobile games. On top of the challenging and rewarding game mechanics, the different play styles adds more variety. Just get it if you think it looks good! You wont be disappointed!

I am really enjoying this game! Ive been on the prowl looking for a faithful Nethack-style roguelike on iOS for years. Im pretty sure Ive tried them all, and Cavern is the one I keep coming back to! Very nice work!!

Lot of fun. Easy to get into it, but challenging to win. Much more polished than other rogue likes it played on iOS. Makes the time fly by. Hours worth of entertainment.

Twice as better with update. For the next major update (yes I know this is a hefty task) I will like to see multiplayer. If your having crashes try to reboot it will probably help.

Cavern was one of my earliest purchases, and its a testament that it holds up today.

I guess this game is now too technologically advanced to work on previous iOSs

This is by far the best rogue-like on the appstore. It does have a nasty game-breaking bug but Im taking the developers word that it will be fixed shortly in the next update.

One of the best roguelikes on the App Store. Buy this.

I downloaded this after the recently posted TA plays video and I am extremely impressed. This is definitely the most well balanced roguelike on the app store. And the graphics and ambiance are just perfect! this is exactly what I have been looking for. My only suggestion would be to please implement a dpad of dome sort. It can get kind of hairy on the iphone.

Great fun exploring and learning the game mechanics. One minor request: would love to see rotation (180 deg. Vertical flip) supported so that I can play while my ipad is plugged in and charging :)

The idea is good and it overall it functions. However the bad touch movement will kill you faster then the unbalanced enemies. The first 5 floors are a cake walk. Then a horde of enemies will kill pin you down and kill you. None of the three classes feel like they have a real advantage when the horde comes. If they fixed the movement and balanced the lower levels it would solve the problems.

2.0 still has some crash issues. Lost a couple games. Now crashing on inventory screen. Keep up the good work though ! Thanks.

If you have an old version of cavern, delete it, and reinstall to get game to work. Cant delete my old review, without adding a new one. Game works now, seems pretty basic, Ill update this later. Ignore this review for now.

My only problem is they will ambush you sometimes when you first enter the dungeon, then youre screwed.

This would be a 5 star game if you did not have to restart the game every time you die. It should have some option to restart at the same level of the dungeon. As it is, you will spend hours and hours replaying the same 5 levels of the dungeon - this becomes very frustrating.

This is a very fun game! Hopefully the bugs I found will be fixed.

Im not even a big fan of rogue-likes but this one has a lot of charm. For example if you dont make it to the endgame and die, its possible youll encounter your ghost as an ai controlled character thatll help you. Its also possible youll get helper ghosts from other people too. There are three classes, loot, and while the world is random each game... Its fixed until you die. So drop an item somewhere, itll be there later when you come back. Theres no IAP or other shenanigans, this is a pure premium game.

Very fun and more polished than before! Thanks to the devs for the continued updates and the current sale!
